What is C.A.S.S.A
Crush Afer School Sports Academy is a program that introduces children to various sports while parents are finishing up their work day.
While our first love is volleyball, we understand the value of leveraging multiple sports to develop well rounded confident kids.
Physical activity in general is associated with improved academic achievement, including grades and standardized test scores. Further, such activity can affect attitudes and academic behavior including enhanced concentration, attention, and improved classroom behavior (GAO, 2012).
Whether you are learning online or on campus C.A.S.S.A is a great place to get your exercise, be introduced to a new sport, and gain confidence for your next league.
It is not just an open gym. Our coach led curriculumn teaches kids the core concepts of CRUSH (Coachable, Respectful, Uplifting, Sportsmanship, Hustle)
How does the program work?
Every day we start off with a lesson around a key concept of the week. Throughout their daily gym time, we host activites to promote social and emotional development.
We lead players in physical education according to age/skill level including
- Speed and Agility
- Strength and Conditioning
- Indoor soccer
- Other seasonal sports introduced throughout the year
